Voice Work is committed to protecting your privacy and this Privacy Statement is intended to describe how your personal information is processed and used. By using the Voice Work website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Voice Work's website may contain links to other sites. You are encouraged to review the privacy statements of those sites you choose to link to from Voice Work so that you can understand how they collect, use and share your information. Voice Work is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on sites outside of the Voice Work.

 

Collection of your Personal Information

 

Contact Us Form/Email/Telephone/Sign Up Form

If you complete the 'Contact Us' form, Voice Work collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, and telephone number.

 

If you email or telephone Voice Work, and give other personal information this to will be stored until any enquiry or subsequently booked coaching, is complete. Information after coaching/ services delivered is kept in a non-identifiable form, unless you gave consent for further contact/marketing. Therefore, if you wish to resume coaching with Voice Work, it is helpful for you to give permission to retain information for longer or to keep dates you received coaching and areas you worked on during coaching. This will help us find your old details easier in some instances. In purposes of marketing and/or consent given to retain your personal details, you can contact us at any time and request your details be made unidentifiable. 

 

The 'Sign Up' form is found at the bottom of the page (using Mail Chimp for this service, you can search them and check their policies online) and your name and email address are collected if you choose to and an email is sent for you to opt in. You can opt out at any time by contacting me or clicking 'unsubscribe' on any email you receive.

 

Visitor Information

Voice Work uses Google Analytics to help work out which pages are being used on the website and visitor demographics.  Google Analytics stores information about your computer hardware and software and Voice Work can view this information. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, operating systems, domain names, access times, referring website addresses, location, language and new vs. returning visitor, search words or terms that are passed from the search engine. The same information is also available to Voice Work on the Voice Work website hosting server. This information reveals no personal data about you. Both the Voice Work hosting server and Google Analytics take data security seriously.

Voice Work has found it advantageous to examine visitor traffic so that we can ensure maximum compatibility for the various browsers and operating systems that visit our site. By analysing these patterns described above, we can strategically enhance our presence across the Internet. Furthermore, we use the data to continue to maintain quality of the service and information provided.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Voice Work public message boards eg. Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter (other may be used at some point, so this notice covers all public message boards and/or forums), this information may be collected and used by others.

 

Use of your Personal Information

 

Voice Work collects and uses your personal information to operate the Voice Work site and deliver the services you have requested. Voice Work also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Voice Work. Voice Work may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

Voice Work does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Voice Work may send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, using the information you have provided.

Voice Work shares a limited amount of personal information (name and telephone number) when making room bookings to provide services that you have purchased. These parties use your information for the delivery of excellent customer care once you are on-site and for enquiries leading up to your appointment.  They may also contact you if there was a cancellation from Voice Work or any issues at the venue to warrant using your telephone number. These services are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Voice Work, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

 

Voice Work shares your name and bare essential details on online appointments and sometimes other information as relevant to the sessions or services booked. This is so your coach knows who and what the session/ service is coming up for good diary keeping and scheduling. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype and other online platforms are used to deliver sessions and calls. Please do look into any further protocols of how such services store the information. All the platforms used are checked by Voice Work to ensure that they are adhering to current GDPR legislation. If you are unhappy with a certain platform for your service provision, then please do suggest another and we will look into that also.

 

Voice Work does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, without your explicit consent.

Voice Work will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on Voice Work or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Voice Work; and, (c) act, where it is felt necessary, under particular circumstances to protect the personal safety of users/clients of Voice Work, or the public or Voice Work staff.

 

Use of Cookies

 

The Voice Work Web site does not currently operate cookies.

 

Security of your Personal Information

 

Voice Work uses all reasonable precautions to keep your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Voice Work secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. The same reasonable precautions are taken with hard copies of information on clients. Currently, payments are protected as Voice Work asks you to pay via your own bank transfer into Voice Work account.

Any changes to our Privacy Statement will be published here so that you are always aware of the information that we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
